Robert E. Seyfarth was a prolific North Shore architect who designed 100s of distinctive homes during his long career.
The Abel Davis home, 600 Sheridan Rd in Glencoe, was built in 1925 and has recently undergone a complete renovation. The home is currently offered for sale at $3,875,000 through Maureen Mohling and Julie Deutsch of Coldwell Banker.
In this first part of our video tour we begin a walk through the first-floor living areas, pausing to focus on some of the architectural elements characteristic of Seyfarth’s work, and are drawn repeatedly through large, arched windows to the unusually large yard .
