A fabulous master suite in Wilmette

Wilmette’s Indian Hill Estates is a 170-acre subdivision planned by architect Philip Maher in the 1920s. The area was mostly built in the 1950s and 1960s and features large lots, winding roads, and homes priced upwards (in some cases well-upwards) of $1M. It’s a very different experience than the classic railroad suburb street grid in East Wilmette.

In the video above you’ll visit a 4-bedroom, 4 ½ bath home with a master suite that you might expect to find in a home at twice the price. The home, listed by Coldwell Banker’s Linda Martin, is at 1007 Romona Rd, and is priced at $1,895,000.

You can also join me for a video drive around the neighborhood.
