A few days ago one of our posts triggered over 50 comments on the future of 63rd and Western.
We’re aware that most Chicagoans have never set foot in the area, and never will. Nonetheless, we thought you might like some visual perspective on the debate over the future of the 63rd and Western neighborhood. And so, we took several hundred photos of the area which you can view in these Flickr slideshows: Chicago Lawn, Gage Park, Marquette Park, and West Englewood. Note that some of the photos on boundary streets may be included in more than one slideshow.
