The more time I spend in the neighborhood that I’m adjusting to calling West Bucktown, the more I’m struck by the amount of new construction and rehab activity that’s occurred there during the past 10 years.
I was in the neighborhood a few days ago to tour a 4-bedroom, 3 ½ bath home at 1728 N Maplewood Ave, priced at $598,900.
The home, built in 2003, has large public living spaces, an open floor plan, all of the amenities that buyers are looking for, and some surprising extras. It’s wider and more light-filled than the typical home on a standard 25 x 125 Chicago lot. The recently-redone Maplewood Park is half a block south.
Melissa Govedarica of Sergio & Banks was my tour guide in this sponsored video.
