A one-day demolition in River North

When I pulled into the parking lot opposite my office yesterday morning, just after 10, the vacant building between the parking lot and the Green Door Tavern was intact.

When I left the office at about 2:45, the building was nearly gone.

Rumor has it that the site is destined to become a parking lot, the most highly sought-after form of development in River North.
