Almost every real estate agent in Chicago is smart enough to avoid risking a fair housing violation. Most of the few that aren’t would avoid giving a development the same name as a demolished CHA project.

When you consider the development site, Trumbull and Ogden in Lawndale, it’s hard to quibble with the appropriateness of Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Also fitting is the developer’s name: Exodus Development.
