One of the major drawbacks to new construction in this area of Lincoln Park, given the very high land values, has always been the lack of parking. There are no alleys serving the homes that front Orchard in this area and even whispering “curb cut” would surface a thundering NIMBY lynch mob.

I don’t think I’d want curb cuts here either! I’ve met a row home owner here that parks at a garage about two blocks away.
I mentioned the home at 2436 N Orchard in the video is for sale and will probably be a tear down. I should have said gut rehab. I do not know for certain if you would be allowed to tear down this particular home due to the landmark status of the block.
