Convincing sellers to lower their asking prices can be a long and arduous process, especially if they’re facing a sale below their original purchase price. On Sunday I talked to Jameson agent Romeo De La Cruz, who was showing a 2,400 square-foot duplex at 3752 N Fremont St. De La Cruz’s clients recently agreed to drop the price of the home by 9 percent to $575,000, $2,500 less than what they paid for it in 2005. Here, he talks about the process of working with sellers to find the right price in the market.
