Art, real estate, charity intersect in Logan Square

The Realtors at Real Living Infinity are taking a new approach to the art of home-selling with an event they’re calling ArtHouse 2007. Agents Wes Walker and Donnie Morey plan to transform one of the two new-construction single-family homes at 2523 N Campbell Ave into an art gallery on Friday, Jan 26. Every room of the house will be filled with art works from 12 local artists. Food and drink from Yumm! Catering will be served in the kitchen, and a martini bar will be set up in the family room. A portion of the proceeds from art sales and donations from the martini bar will go to the charity AIDSCare. Walker and Morey consider the event a “fun, creative and beneficial” way to attract buyers and other agents to their listings. The 5,000-square-foot homes have distinctive stone turrets, rooftop decks, five bedrooms, three-car garages, four fireplaces and home theater rooms. Both are priced at $1.18 million.
