Shooting pictures in Uptown and Edgewater last week, we came across more bland boxes than we cared to count. Maybe that’s why this boldly geometric building at 1257 W Carmen Ave came as such a breath of fresh air. Of course, we should have realized when the woman in the bottom left corner of the photo tried to insert herself between the building and camera in every single shot that she was vying for the last available unit. A call to the listing agent confirmed it: 1257 W Carmen Ave, where condos have two bedrooms and two baths, is officially sold out.
