This just in from Crain’s: a 46-unit condo project in west suburban Hillside appears to be in trouble. Fifth Third Bank Chicago has filed a foreclosure lawsuit to collect $10.17 million, alleging that the developer, JSG Development LLC, failed to pay off the loan when it was due Sept 27. Only 11 units have sold at the six-story building, called Blue Stem, located at 1903-1907 S Wolf Rd, according to the story.
