Beverly and Morgan Park are well known for their churches, many of which are affiliated with schools. “Everyone is very proud of their parishes,” Nancy Hotchkiss, an agent with Prudential Biros Real Estate, told me recently. Back in the frigid depths of February, we took in an improv comedy show at the Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W 111th St. A couple of the performers were born and raised in Beverly, and in a moment of neighborhood pride announced their home parishes to the crowd. The whistling and cheering was deafening.
