The 4800 and 4900 blocks of North Damen Avenue are pretty typical of Ravenswood, with a smattering of nearby shops and restaurants (including a terrific Thai place), good proximity to Andersonville and Lincoln Square, and wide-open green space at Winnemac Park.
New-construction shoppers have at least three choices on these blocks. Rubloff is marketing 4815 N Damen (pictured above), a new-construction building with a design that echoes traditional Chicago architecture. Two-bedroom two-bath units range from the $410s to the $520s.
Two other new buildings on the block veer toward contemporary. Ralko Development’s 4842 N Damen (click on “current projects”), comprises four duplexes. And 4950 N Damen, marketed by Century 21 Sussex & Reilly’s Tim Sheahan, houses three “extra-wide” condos.
