Bridgeport Condominiums

Recently, we had a chance to check out the Bridgeport Condominiums, Mega Development’s project of 67 one- and two-bedroom condos at the corner of 35th and Halsted Streets. A towering mass that hovers high above its Bridgeport brethren, the Pappageorge/Haymes-designed building is about 50 percent sold, according to Christine Sloper of Mega Properties. Occupancy is slated for the end of March. The remaining units are priced from the mid-$240s and range from 935 to 1,350 square feet.

The ground floor of the building also features 18,000 square feet of retail space that we will be telling you more about soon.

  • Considering the fact that Mega-realty has scarred the city with ugly strip malls for years, I applaud them with this development–certainly a great improvement and a good contributor to the streetscape.

  • wasn’t that the location that was supposed to be the new CPD 9th District station? There was a City sign up for it and all.
