The second stop on this week’s Quad Communities home tour was The Renaissance, a new mixed-use building at 4234 S Ellis Ave in North Kenwood-Oakland. Builders Center of Chicago built nine new condominiums above its new showroom and is offering all nine for sale or on a rent-to-own basis. Buyers and renters alike will be able to customize the units with finishes found in the Builders Center showroom, says agent Bertina Power, who shows me around The Renaissance’s three-bedroom model.
