The Grandview Condominiums, I mean.
I get the part about claiming it’s in Peterson Park when it’s not. My mother’s Polish, and even us half-Poles understand that “Pulaski Park” doesn’t cut it with the marketing guys.
I get the part about claiming it’s “walking distance” to “eclectic dining.” I don’t mind a mile walk here and there, and the McDonald’s directly across the street draws a pretty eclectic crowd.
I get the part about it’s being “nestled” in a “quiet neighborhood.” That’s exactly what I was thinking as the roar of the traffic along Peterson and Jersey abated for an instant. Nestled.
I get the part about the great skyline views. Hell, on a clear day a good telescope can handle a ten-mile span with ease.
The kids can go to elementary school right next door, and those cunning spikes will rip up any of the neighbors who try to invade.
What I don’t get is who’s going to pay upwards of $500k for a 3-bedroom here. Help me out on this one.
