Friday’s Sun-Times reported that a “Cheap Trick Chicago restaurant, music venue and museum will be rockin’ by next summer if all goes according to plan.” A variation on that plan for Motor Row had been reported by Chicago Journal several months earlier.
Not much has gone according to plan recently for Pam Gleichman, the developer of the project. We’ve recently noted the unsurprising demise of her plan for a “massive hotel, retail and entertainment project next to McCormick Place,” and linked to a bankruptcy filing.
In the unlikely event that you want to know more about Gleichman, you can follow her daughter’s lawsuits against her for allegedly mismanaging and improperly attempting to sell low-income housing for personal gain. Gleichman’s daughter, Rosa Scarcelli, who recently ran for Governor of Maine, has also sued her stepfather, Karl Norberg, for failing to fire her mother.
