It appears to have gone unremarked at Crain’s, but Chicago Real Estate Daily recently began its sixth year of operation. We noted the launch on May 10, 2007.

The current headline story at Chicago Real Estate Daily concerns the downtown apartment rental market. According to Crain’s, rents at Class A apartment buildings in downtown Chicago rose 9.2% year-over-year and 20.2% since bottoming out at the end of 2009.
