This being South Triangle Week at YoChicago, we thought we’d give you a look at a few available rentals. We figured that an area that includes all or part of more than 10 neighborhoods would have more options. Still, we were able to scope out a couple of nicely-priced places.

– For $650 per month, you can rent this one-bedroom one-bathroom apartment at 8016 S Evans Ave in Chatham. This unit has a living room, an eat-in kitchen and hardwood floors. Although residents might not be happy about having to park on the street, they don’t have to worry about trekking to a laundromat, since washers and dryers are on site. The 26-unit building overlooks a courtyard that at least in this photo looks pretty green. The tenants are responsible for all utilities.

– For $1000 per month, you can rent this three-bedroom one-bathroom apartment on the 7100 block of South Wabash Avenue in Chatham. The rehabbed Chicago-style flat spans more than 1,200 square feet. The interior features a new kitchen and bathroom, and washer and dryer hookups. Outside, you’ll find new porches, windows and plentiful street parking. The landlord welcomes Section 8 residents. The tenant pays all utilities.
