The home last sold in 2004 for $675,000, according to Redfin. 2008 taxes are $10,717. The address gets a “Very Walkable” score of 85 and a “Good Transit” score of 65 from WalkScore.com. (Remember that Walk Score still doesn’t recognize Metra stations like the one six-tenths of a mile east at 53rd Street and Lake Park Avenue.)
I think Walk Score needs to work on their transit scoring – bus transport seems not to be worth enough as an objective scoring, um, value I guess.
