Closeout continues at Dubin's Wabash Club

Wabash Club, 2390 S Wabash Ave, Chicago

Dubin Residential is inching closer to sellout at the Wabash Club, its townhouse development at 2390 S Wabash Ave on the southern end of the South Loop. The developer now is down to a couple of 2,130 square-foot homes priced in the $420s and one 2,035 square-footer priced in the $370s, says Steve Samuels of Bear Kaufman Realty.

All three townhouses are three-story three-bedroom / three-baths with two-car garages. The major difference between the two floor plans is the presence of a private deck atop each of the 2,130 square-foot units. Listings for the homes all mention “highly upgraded” finishes without going into detail, but most of the features listed on Dubin’s site are what you’d expect: hardwood floors in the main living areas, carpet in the bedrooms, ceramic and marble in the baths, and brand-name cabinets, fixtures and stainless-steel appliances in the kitchens.

As an indication of how things change the closer you get to the Stevenson, it’s interesting to note that the prices per square foot at these three homes all come out to below $200, significantly less than the neighborhood’s median list price of $369 per square foot.
