Concord offers $35,000 rowhome incentive

Concord Homes is offering up to $35,000 in incentives for buyers who purchase a townhouse at Concord at Jefferson Park on the Northwest Side. The development, at Lawrence and Lamon, includes 56 rowhomes and 29 single-family homes.
“Buyers can use the incentives to purchase luxury touches that will help them personalize their home, such as granite countertops, upgraded cabinetry, enhanced lighting and surround-sound wiring,” said Roger Mankedick, executive vice president of Concord Homes.

Mankedick says the incentives, which are being offered for a limited time, will go far because Concord at Jefferson Park already offers a high level of standard finishes. Buyers won’t need to spend the allowance on air conditioning, nine-foot ceilings, fireplaces, hardwood floors in living areas, oak railings or six-panel painted wood doors – all standard features.

“There aren’t many opportunities to purchase a new-construction home of this size and craftsmanship in an up-and-coming neighborhood like Jefferson Park,” Mankedick said. “It’s a great location for people who work and play in both the city and suburbs. And the incentives make the homes even more attractive, especially when buyers lock in a mortgage before interest rates go up.”

Two rowhome designs are available at the community, each with 2,200 square feet, three bedrooms, two full baths, two half-baths and attached rear-loading two-car garages. Plans are base-priced from the $390s to the $420s.

The rowhomes are designed in a courtyard to encourage interaction among neighbors and provide easy access to the rear-loading garages, while minimizing the impact of vehicles. Homes will face each other, with front elevations overlooking landscaped courtyards.

The Concord at Jefferson Park “Welcome Home Center” is located at 4933 W. Lawrence.
