Following yesterday’s sales update, I made the quick jaunt over to 1222 – 1224 W Madison St to see what Mod looks like right now.
Cold temps and snow slowed construction over the past couple of months, says Mike Battista, vice president of sales at Jameson Realty Group. But the stairwells and elevator shaft for the project’s first building are up, as is some of the steel for the building’s second floor.
Battista expects the building to be ready for deliveries late this year or in early 2009.
