It’s been a pretty quiet winter for the Parkhomes of Lakeshore East in Magellan Development‘s Lakeshore East. That’s probably because the 25 townhouses and condominiums are standing in the shadows of Aqua, the 82-story condo / apartment tower on the other side of the park.
I swung by Lakeshore East yesterday afternoon to take a look at the Parkhomes, and I found that they aren’t looking too much different from when I viewed them in November, except for one major detail: All of the homes along the south side of the park are outfitted with very bright copper cladding and detail work.
The townhouses are still behind a green fence, and it doesn’t look like they’re ready for occupancy, but they appear to be getting close. To the east, the Parkhomes’ five-story low-rise has reached full height, although it still lacks a roof. It’s difficult to tell from the rendering below, but the green shade of the roof looks a bit like that of patinated copper.
The Parkhomes’ ten three- and four-bedroom townhouses and the 15 mid-rise condos are priced from $1.6 million to $2.5 million.
