Belgravia Group‘s 565 Quincy in the Loop is one new development that I’ve been keeping an eye on because, well, I think it looks neat. The construction site does, at least.
I’m not altogether sure what the finished product will look like, and frankly, these renderings from the Belgravia Web site don’t instill much confidence. This picture at right is of the common roof deck on the eighth floor, which looks pretty nice, but for some reason the setting reminds me more of cell block than a luxury condo building.
The building has looked like this, with the skeleton of the new construction atop the old industrial loft building, for a few months now, but construction crews were on site when I took this photo earlier in the week. Deliveries on the lofts, which are located in the seven-story base, are scheduled to begin in December, and condo deliveries in the upper 11 stories will begin next spring.
