A tower crane is arguably the most critical element in the construction of a high-rise building, and the dismantling of the crane marks a major milestone in a building’s progress. Another major milestone is completion of the building’s fenestration.

As you can see from the above photo, window installation has passed the halfway point at The Habitat Company‘s 43-story Hubbard Place, 360 W Hubbard in River North. The disassembly of the tower crane has also begun.

Hubbard Place is targeting October of this year for its first occupancies, and has rents, floor plans and detailed information available online.
