The Clare at Water Tower looks to be almost halfway to its full, 53-story height. The senior living facility, at 55 E Pearson St, is designed by Perkins+Will.
The project, a collaboration between Franciscan Sisters of Chicago Service Corp., Loyola University Chicago and Greystone Communities, is geared towards independent living and assisted living. A skilled nursing facility will be on site.
Other features will include skyline views, 24-hour door staff, an indoor aquatic center, a fitness center, a landscaped courtyard, a library and an art gallery.
Prices on The Clare’s 251 units start in the $500s, and deliveries are expected in summer 2008, according to the Web site. You can download a .pdf fact sheet here.
