Construction on The Mondial, Citta Development’s 15-story condo development at 900 W Huron St in the West Loop, is at about the half-way point. It’s just a little bit taller than its neighbors right now, hinting at how it will fit in with the existing buildings in the neighborhood, and from Chicago Avenue it can be seen peeking out over the surrounding buildings.
When Joe posted a construction update back in February, only the parking structure was taking shape, but now it looks like cement has been poured for about seven residential floors on the western side of the constructions site.
When all is said and done, The Mondial will have 142 residential units and a parking garage with 236 spaces. Because it will be so much taller than most of the other structures in the West Loop, Citta expects residents of The Mondial to enjoy some pretty nice views.
