Deal or no deal in the Chicago market?

Are Chicago homebuyers wheeling and dealing while the market remains a little cooler than it was a year ago? Yes, according to Britta Rivera, sales director for Lennar Urban – Chicago, which is marketing Library Tower.

“People do want a deal; it’s all perception,” Rivera says. “You don’t have to slash their prices in half, you offer them something so they think they are getting a deal — a washer and dryer or something – just because they’ve heard all these stories that the market is soft, it’s a buyer’s market.” Yo wants to know – have you struck a deal recently?
