Dedicating the Fifield Family Bridge at Children’s Hospital

The new Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital building is just two days away from its long-awaited opening. The philanthropic generosity and time commitment of many Chicagoans made the hospital a reality, with individuals from the real estate community playing key roles.

The 23-story state-of-the-art facility will help the hospital continue to attract top talent and execute its mission of serving the Chicago region’s most critically ill and injured children.

Yesterday marked the dedication of the Randy and Steven Fifield Family Bridge connecting Prentice Women’s Hospital – the largest birthing center in Illinois – to Children’s Hospital, enabling faster transport for critically ill newborns between the facilities.
