Interior designer and real estate agent Lauren Schreyer was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2006 and has since directed her interest in art and design to advance research of the disease. In early October, Schreyer and other design and furnishing companies put together four models at 565 Quincy, Belgravia Group’s combination loft conversion / high-rise in Chicago’s West Loop. Here, Schreyer talks about the background of Design for a Cure and offers some observations on interior design trends in today’s market.
