Wabansia Row II looks a lot better today than it did last year, or the year before, or a couple years before that. These oft-delayed townhomes at 2330 W Wabansia Ave in Bucktown have finally reached completion, and @properties agents Tony and Lisa Madonia have been holding open houses regularly since the spring.
Two weeks ago, @properties and Origin Development lowered the prices of some Wabansia Row II townhomes by as much as $100,000. A three-bedroom / 4.5-bath with 3,096 square feet and a two-car attached garage (floor plan below) is now priced in the $690s, and a four-bedroom / 4.5-bath with two-car attached garage is listed in the $940s.
The homes are finished with granite countertops, 42-inch kitchen cabinets, Viking and Bosch stainless-steel appliances, whirlpool tubs, steam showers, Hansgrohe bath fixtures, marble or limestone bath vanity tops, and marble or limestone tile. They also include dual-zone heating and air conditioning, rooftop decks, and wood-burning fireplaces with gas starters. Three townhomes are available for immediate delivery.
Qualified buyers can get a 3.875-percent interest rate on a five-year adjustable-rate mortgage through Guaranteed Rate, according to a recent press release from @properties.
@properties is also marketing one townhome from Wabansia Row’s first phase, a 3,100 square-foot four-bedroom priced at $749,900. The home sold in late 2007 for $740,000.
