Sounds like last night’s public meeting about Webster Square, the mixed-use development proposed to replace the old Lincoln Park Hospital, was a real blast. I’m almost sorry I stayed home and did homework. See Fox Chicago’s report on the get-together in the video above.
It wasn’t just the developer vs. the NIMBYs. There was significant general support. It’s funny how all the geezers like Marty Oberman and the rest have to first state how many years they’ve been in the neighborhood. Given that this ludicrous process is their pathetic legacy, I’d be embarrased to admit to being a long timer.
