In honor of Donald Trump’s new book, Think Big and Kick Ass in Business (to be released tomorrow), we thought we’d post this photo of a model kitchen at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. Fittingly, the breakfast bar is set with decadent pastries, gold napkins and what look like mugs full of gold marbles. Perhaps those are The Donald’s nuggets of wisdom. From the book (excerpted by The Today Show):
“The only way to get rich is to be realistic and brutally honest. You have to get out of the ideal fantasy world you read about in magazines and see on TV. It is not as easy as they make it look. It is tough, and people get hurt. So you have to be as tough as nails and willing to kick ass if you want to win.”
A lesson apparently learned by several participants in Trump’s “friends and family” program for his Chicago tower. Meanwhile, the project still has about 200 units available, according to sales director Leah Harriett. Prices on the 486 condos and 339 hotel condos range from the $580s to $9.6 million.
