Division Street condo seeks 25% premium after two years

We’ve written intermittently about Ranquist Development‘s Osterhaus McCarthy-designed 2028 W Division St since it launched in 2007.

In April of 2008 construction was expected to begin that summer. It did, but was stalled as of June 2009. When we checked in again, in March of 2011, construction was complete and only one unit was listed for sale, in the $590s.

The 3-bedroom, 2-bath Unit 401 at 2028 W Division in Wicker Park closed in March of 2011 for $716,000, a price that included two deeded parking spaces. The condo recently came back on the market, priced at $899,900. It boasts a 33 x 44 roof deck with a hot tub, U-shaped seating area around a gas fire pit, and skyline views. Koenig & Strey’s Sophia Klopas has the listing.

The building sits directly on one of the liveliest restaurant / bar / shopping strips in the city, on the street that was once known as Polish Broadway.

According to Chicago Magazine, Trillium is one of nine Division Street boutiques participating in the fourth annual March Madness Sale Weekend this Saturday and Sunday.
