Chicago Association of Realtors CEO Darcy Dougherty is leaving the local trade group to take a post as president and CEO of Keller Williams Mid-America Region and of Genesis Realty Services, which owns and operates nine Keller offices.
William O’Kane, owner of the Chicago-based group, made the announcement. In her new role, Dougherty will be responsible for expanding the company’s operation, opening new offices and boosting productivity.
Dougherty has been CEO of CAR since 1995, overseeing a 48-person staff and an annual budget of more than $15 million.
