Eight Eleven is a 27-story, 381-unit apartment building at 811 W Agatite in the Clarendon Park section of the Uptown neighborhood. It was completed in 2018, and also includes eight townhomes and ground-level retail space.
JDL was the developer, Hartshorne Plunkard the architecture firm, and Lendlease was the general contractor.
The apartments
Eight Eleven offers studio, 1- and 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartments, and 2-story 3-bedroom, 3 ½-bath townhomes. Floor plans and near real-time rent and availability info are accessible online.
Kitchens have upscale finishes, stainless steel appliances, including 4-burner gas ranges, built-in microwaves and dishwashers.
The apartments have large windows, plank flooring throughout, and in-unit washer / dryers.
Baths have attractive finishes and vanities with drawers for storage.
Views. Many of the units have unobstructed views of the park and lake.

Eight Eleven has extensive common-area amenities.
Eight Eleven has a sprawling landscaped pool deck with grilling areas and a dog run.
The spacious, well-equipped fitness center has a large variety of cardio- and strength-training equipment and a separate yoga studio.
Residents can enjoy more relaxing sports in the huge gaming lounge or on the golf simulator, which has adjacent putting greens just outside.
Eight Eleven also has a resident lounge and demonstration kitchen adjacent to a party room.
Eight Eleven is pet-friendly, subject to limits, and smoke-free. The building has on-site management, maintenance and leasing staff, and 24/7 door staff.
The location
Eight Eleven has Clarendon Park across the street, and is within easy walking distance of Lincoln Park’s Montrose Harbor and Montrose Beach.
Truman College, Thorek Memorial Hospital, and Weiss Memorial Hospital are within walking distance.
Shopping. Eight Eleven has convenient access to grocery shopping, with a Jewel-Osco a block west. Target is a few blocks away on Broadway.
Dining, nightlife, entertainment. Residents are likely to head south along Broadway to the thriving dining and nightlife scene in Lakeview, or north to the Uptown entertainment district.
The Satellite Café, a block west on Montrose, is a popular local spot for coffee, tea and sandwiches.
The Bar on Buena, a few minutes’ walk from Eight Eleven, boasts that it has “the world’s smallest kitchen.” Its next-door neighbor, North Buena Deli & Wine, has garnered positive reviews.
Parks, recreation. Eight Eleven residents have outstanding access to public parks and recreational activities.
The 8-acre Clarendon Park has junior baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, a two-hoop basketball court, a dog-friendly area, a playground, and a field house that hosts a variety of activities. Soccer and football fields and a 9-hole golf course are just across Lake Shore Drive east of Eight Eleven.
Free Wi-Fi, a concession stand and volleyball nets are just a few of the draws at nearby Montrose Beach.
The 1,200-acre Lincoln Park, one of the great public spaces in America, is just east of Eight Eleven. Lincoln Park has almost every recreational amenity imaginable, from an archery range to a great free zoo.
Transportation. Eight Eleven has good access to public transportation.
It’s just over a 10-minute walk from Eight Eleven to the CTA Red Line and Purple Line express stop at Wilson. There’s also bus service along Broadway and Marine Drive.
Lake Shore Drive access is convenient. Crosstown access to I-90/94 and the city’s expressway grid is inconvenient from this location, and can be especially time-consuming before and after Cubs’ games.
Zipcar car sharing and DIVVY bike locations are a short walk from the building. Taxi and Uber service is readily available.
