In our final installment of my Uptown walking tour, I head east on Montrose Avenue to Montrose Park. In stark contrast to the bustling and motoring videos that precede it, this video is a mostly quiet sequence showcasing the calm of the lakefront park about ten minutes from the noise of central Uptown.
What a beautiful great day for strolling in the park…..and a fabulous 360 panorama from atop Montrose Cricket Hill ! This final tour really showcases Uptown’s walking accessibility to the lakefront….or even by bike for that matter as well. The park’s endearing atmosphere can capture anyone’s heart. Many thanks for posting these walking tours of a neighborhood and community with a colorful history and giving me the precious recollection of a significant transformative period of my life.
