Everybody hates Chicago

Chicago needs a break from lists and polls. First we learn we’re kinda dumb; now we’re told we’re not too popular, either.

Every year, Harris Interactive asks a few thousand Americans, “If you could live in or near any city in the country except the one you live in or nearest to now, which city would you choose?” Last year, Chicago placed sixth. This year, we’re 12th, behind New York, San Diego, Las Vegas, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Nashville, Atlanta, Denver, Boston, and Orlando. (Orlando?!?)

To add insult to injury, we did just fine in the poll’s companion question, “And, which city would you least like to live in?” In that case, the Second City ranks fourth. Thanks, guys.
