Floor plan faceoff: three-bedrooms at Legacy at Millennium Park and One Museum Park

Legacy at Millennium Park

The Legacy at Millennium Park (above) in the Loop and One Museum Park (below) in the South Loop both have a few different three-bedroom floor plans. Let’s take a look at a couple of units with roughly the same square footage, 1,999 for $1.15 million and 1,900 for $1.25 million respectively.

While One Museum Park, at 1211 S Prairie Ave, is the smaller unit of the two, the floor plan still gives a sunny, open impression. The master suite sits to the left of the circular foyer, while the rest of the residence is to the right. It has a larger dining room and living room than Legacy, which trades in space for a larger third bedroom.

Both units present the second bedroom and bathroom as a suite. Legacy’s washer/dryer hook-up is off the foyer with some room for a folding table, while One Museum Park has the hook-up tucked privately between the living room and smaller bedrooms without extra space. The closest thing to a coat closet at One Museum Park is in the master suite or through the dining room. Legacy, at 60 E Monroe St, has two closets in the foyer and is generally structured around its hallway.
