Senco Properties has defaulted on almost $7 million in loans for the 94-unit EcoLogic Lofts in Bucktown, leaving the turbine-topped plan blowing in the wind. Man, if the promise of hot co-ed shower action can’t help your sales, nothing can.

Let’s revisit some of our favorite moments from the EcoLogic Lofts sales center, shall we?

  • It doesn’t help that it’s by that pain-in-the-ass intersection of Damen, Fullerton, and Elston. Unless you are a fan of Popeye’s chicken or Vienna (both of which I do like), I would say the location is less than ideal. I’m no real estate prude. Just an average joe, but I’m just saying.

  • There is a plan in place to re-route elston around that intersection to ease congestion and spur some growth there. Its a long time coming. There are pretty much daily car wrecks there. Keeps getting pushed back though. Suprised the city isn’t more behind this. Cleaning up that intersection and putting a cool building like this seemed pretty progressive, but i guess we’re Chicago, so it doesn’t fit the mold.
