For a little more than a century, the gabled brick building at 2150 W North Ave, on the border between Wicker Park and Bucktown, was home to Association House, a social service organization for families.

Association House recently packed up and moved to a new location at 1116 N Kedzie Ave, and Wojtek Custom Developers began the process of gutting the building for conversion to condos. The project comprises a dozen units, according to Sophie Kos, the Prime Properties Realty agent who is marketing the project.

The interior, once occupied by classrooms and a gym, will contain one garden-level simplex, eight duplexes and three triplexes. Features will include exposed brick, vaulted ceilings and the original fireplaces and arched windows. Since the project unofficially went on the market about a month ago, two units have come under contract, according to Kos.

The two- to three-bedroom condos range in price from the $310s to the $690s.
