Courtyard buildings are ubiquitous in Chicago – especially on the North Side – but it’s rare that the courtyards themselves are anything to write home about. The rambling green spaces that surround at 1414 W Greenleaf Ave in Rogers Park are an exception. It appears that some green-thumbed person has taken the street’s name to heart.
