Golub & Company has revised its plans for the site at 410 E Grand Ave in Streeterville. The revised plan calls for a 45-story residential tower with 490 apartments, ground floor retail space and 270 parking spaces. The affordable housing component in the companion building has been scrapped in favor of an 8-story commercial / medical office building with ground floor retail.
The revised plans will be presented at a public meeting hosted by 42nd Ward Ald. Brendan Reilly and the Streeterville Organization of Active Residents. The Alderman’s email adopts his standard peremptory, quasi-dictatorial tone in announcing that Golub representatives will conduct the meeting “per the Alderman’s direction.”
The meeting will be held at 6 PM Monday, November 14th in the 8th floor large conference room at 541 N Fairbanks Ct. In the meantime, you can read the revised Planned Development document and Lakefront Protection Ordinance package (PDF files).
