Jeff Baird

Jeff Baird is a real-estate market analyst with experience in a variety of sectors and is founder of Lakeshore Analytics, a firm that examines residential real-estate transactions in Chicago. He has lived in Chicago for four years, having moved from rural Ohio, where he was editor of a trade magazine. He recently bought his first home in the Irving Park neighborhood, where he is president of his condominium association.

In his spare time, Jeff bikes around Chicago region, drives around the U.S. (he has been to 43 states), and goes to major and minor league baseball games (he has been to half the major-league parks and about 30 minor-league parks

Originally from the Boston area, Jeff relocated to Chicago more than 11 years ago. He currently resides in the Lincoln Park neighborhood with his wife and young daughter. Jeff holds a B.A. from the University of Vermont in English and Political Science and an M.B.A. from Babson College, Cum Laude, in Marketing and Finance. Jeff is an Accredited Buyer Rep (ABR), has been certified as a relocation specialist, and is currently pursuing his brokers license.

Eric is recognized in the real-estate industry for his innovative marketing, as well has his real-estate blogging at The Chicago Real Estate Local. He will also appear in an episode of HGTV’s House Hunters in 2009.

A “Chicago guy,” Eric enjoys a duplex home in Ravenswood with his wife Jillian and son Ryne. He truly believes in raising a family in the city and has purchased multiple properties in Chicago.
