Historic Del Prado offers renovated Hyde Park apartments

The Del Prado, built in 1918, is one of a group of distinctive buildings that mark the gateway from Lake Shore Drive into Hyde Park in Chicago. The buildings comprise a National Register of Historic Places district fronting Harold Washington Park.

The interior and exterior of the Del Prado have been renovated, and the building now offers stylish studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments.

Watch the video for a look at the grand lobby of this former hotel, the fitness room, and the comfortable lounge areas, which include a mezzanine-level area with free Wi-Fi.

The Del Prado is conveniently located at the corner of 53rd St and Hyde Park Blvd, a short walk from the shops and restaurants along 53rd St and the new Harper Court development. The building has recently arranged nearby parking for its residents at $150 per month.
