House of many gables rising in Ravenswood Manor

We noticed this showy little number going up in Ravenswood Manor, at Leland and Virginia, on the Chicago River. The builder, Orren Pickell, is known best for his extremely high-end suburban custom homes, but he also works in the city. What’s a custom home, you ask?
