Joe slipped a mention of it in a recent post, but aside from that, The Catalina has been altogether absent from Yo, so consider this its official YoChicago debut.
The Chicago Graystone development spans two buildings at 2524 – 2530 N Ashland Ave in Lincoln Park and features four two-bedroom / two-baths priced from the $480s to the $490s and six three-bedroom / three-bath duplexes priced from the $690s to the $770s.
According to the development Web site, each unit comes with washer / dryer, fireplace, Jenn-Air appliances, Bosch dishwasher and a steam shower in the master bath. The units in 2524 N Ashland Ave also come with a stainless-steel Jenn-Air wine cooler. And a section has been included in the FAQ page to describe the sound insulation between floors:
Chicago Graystone Development pours approximately 1½-inch of concrete between floors. Above and below this concrete are sheets of 5/8-inch plywood. The solid hardwood flooring adds another ¾-inch. In the spaces between the trusses, a heavy, cellulose insulation is blown in.
The units range in size from 1,478 to 2,740 square feet. I haven’t managed to reach the sales team yet, so I’m not sure if parking is included in the listing price, but site plans on the Web site show 10 garage and two outdoor parking spaces in rear of the building.
