It's cruise season on the Chicago River

We normally don’t promote a lot of “go-and-do” events around the city, but in this case I’ll make an exception. The Chicago Architecture Foundation reminded its followers on Twitter that tickets for this summer’s Architecture River Cruises go on sale tomorrow. Whether you’re a lifelong resident or just passing through, you’ll learn more about the buildings of downtown Chicago during a 90-minute cruise than you’d ever expect. (And there’s booze, too!)

I took my parents on a river cruise while they were in town last summer, and they still bring it up in conversation. I shot a few videos from the deck of the tour boat and posted these two to the YoChicago YouTube channel the following week.
