"I've never been a big fan of the South Loop"

“I look for neighborhoods that have barriers to entry, because I don’t like a neighborhood where I can have 10 other competitors the next day,” says Senco Properties principal Bill Senne, on why he doesn’t plan on venturing into the South Loop anytime soon. In this segment from his sit-down with Joe Zekas, Senne says he’s more interested in building homes in two areas where he’s already made his mark – Bucktown and the West Loop – as well as Hyde Park, where he sees the potential for new development.
